

Alena Levine

Born and raised in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. At an early age, Alena has initiated an extensive study of lyrical and contemporary dance at the prestigious Charles University Dance School of Prague. At the age of 13, she began to perform on stage in a variety of Prague theaters. She fell in love with the immense landscape of bodily movement, performed at a variety of dance shows and began her choreographing work as well. She felt completely drawn to the body’s ability to speak a language through different choreographic pieces and have found an outlet for her elevated energy, creativity and imagination.
Alena holds a 500hr certification and has been devoting her time, knowledge and energy to spreading the wisdom and practice of yoga for nearly two decades.
She has designed and facilitated numerous sessions of her own signature 200hr Yoga Teacher Training and also led her own Yin Teacher Training. Alena believes in yogic practices that offer wholeness and can translate into our daily life, especially, the personal relationship we nourish with ourselves. Her classes tap into each fine grade of energy, support a non-judgmental curiosity and carry you deep into the inner landscape of our minds and hearts, where all tangible healing resides.
Her source of inspiration comes predominantly from witnessing the struggles of our human nature. In her teaching, Alena aims to speak to healing and therapeutical side of yoga practice in a way that everyone can relate to.
