Amanda Trevelino

Having studied in the Kripalu yoga lineage, I embrace Swami Kripalu’s guiding statement, “the highest form of spiritual practice is self observation without judgement.” I kept that statement in mind as I explored temples in India, learned from healers in Thailand, met earth medicine in Peru and more. My mission became stewarding compassionate self-observation; inviting mindful connection to our inner landscape, while positively affecting our community at large.

In addition to operating Santosha Studio in Atlanta, I have been a director in the Pranakriya School of Yoga. I have led workshops and retreats locally, nationally and in Costa Rica, Greece and Nepal.

My training stems from the guidance of Yoganand Michael Carroll, founder of Pranakriya and a master teacher of the Kripalu lineage and philosophy. Other significant teachers include the late Don Stapleton, PhD and Josh Summers. I consider the yogic journey a path of inquiry, self-discovery and endless unlearning.
